Virtual Fence

This project was designed to be an answer to high-cost CCTV security systems in open and big field areas. For this matter, I developed a modular node base wireless sensor networking system, each powered by a microwave sensor to sense any motion from human to vehicles. After an alarm triggered, the message will pass through the nodes to the gateway and the software on the server will automatically bring up a view of the nearest CCTV near that area. It will keep the focus of the security men in critical situations. Also, the gateway and the nodes will keep monitoring each other’s health in order of anti-jamming. In this solution, I used Zigbee communication method for achieving both reliability and long-range data transfer.
