This device was designed to check both the roundness and diameter of the shaft for engine valves. Inside of this device consist of two high-quality LVDT, 16-bit high accuracy Analog Device ADC and a PIC family microcontroller which gave us a measurement with 1 micron meter accuracy and resolution which was amazing.
